Bob would accompany his father on regular visits to check on the property, fascinated by the process. He marveled at the idea that a beautiful home could emerge from a mere pile of lumber and bricks, destined to endure long after the builder had departed.

Fast forward to 2003, Bob built his first home by demolishing the residence he had called home for a decade. The result was a beautiful new waterfront masterpiece. This experience propelled him to pursue a contractor's license in Virginia, marking the commencement of a career dedicated to constructing homes for others.

As Bob honed his skills, he initiated construction of a high end development. Collaborating with skilled subcontractors, some of whom were true artisans sharing trade secrets, he delved into innovative features for his homes.

Following a prolonged downturn in the home-building market, Bob received an opportunity to work in Florida with a prominent national builder. Working for a national builder provided Bob with insights into the financial intricacies of the industry, revealing the hidden factors that contribute to a home's quality. Observing low-end materials like granite, particle board cabinets, and inexpensive floor tiles, Bob realized the importance of providing genuine value, even in the unseen aspects of a home.

Over the last seven years, Bob and his wife, Jenna, along with their proficient team of architects and subcontractors, have independently undertaken the construction of homes in Florida under the reputable name of Coastline Construction LLC. Additionally, Bob has acquired licensure as a Building Inspector and Plans Reviewer, augmenting his skill set and expertise significantly, and enhancing the value he provides as a home builder. Throughout this period, they have not only excelled in crafting multiple original designs for speculative construction, but have also adeptly ventured into the meticulous creation of fully customized homes.
